webinar description

A survey conducted by the National Retail Federation estimated nearly $8 Billion dollars worth of inventory shrink occurred last year due to administrative errors. Most distribution centers and warehouses struggle to achieve 100% inventory accuracy. The obvious cost of inventory inaccuracy is writing this inventory off of the books. However, the true cost of inaccuracy is much greater. In this webinar we will discuss an analytical approach to support the fundamentals of an effective cycle count program that drives inventory accuracy. However, we won’t stop with the traditional tools. We will walk through several techniques to apply predictive analytics, machine learning, and other technology to supercharge your inventory management. As we discuss these techniques, we will demonstrate some methods to quantify the cost of having inaccurate inventory. Pushing this conversation further, we will discuss several ways to better understand your inventory’s profitability. What about dead and unprofitable inventory? How do you quantify that? We will demonstrate how the fundamentals of advancing your cycle count program can tie into real-time profitability analysis and open up even more potential to increase your profits and profitability.

Reasons to attend the webinar:
  • Learn several practical ways to improve your overall inventory management.

  • Learn more about predictive analytics & how to apply in your operation.
