Nishith is responsible for strategy and innovation at Locus. He leads business expansion across geographies. Prior to founding Locus, Nishith co-founded RideSafe, a women safety initiative that uses cutting-edge algorithms to provide a safe computing experience for women as it detects deviation from the intended travel route, in real time. Prior to that, he worked with Amazon, building algorithms to counter credit card fraud and the science behind the AWS ML product. Nishith holds a degree in Electronics and a Master's in Economics from BITS Pilani. He is a published author in the field of experimental physics and has pending patents in Machine Learning. He was awarded the 2016 TIE Lumis Entrepreneurial Excellence award for Locus. Nishith was profiled by Forbes Asia in their ’30 Under 30’ 2018 list.
