Einstein said that we can’t solve a problem at the same level at which it was created. The Science of Consciousness from India tells us that humans evolve by passing through changing value systems. Our despair from the death of a loved one thrusts us out of our previous set of values, and this stage of our development is clearly described in Indian philosophy as a necessary prerequisite (for most people) for the search for truth and higher consciousness. Sri Ramana Maharshi taught that the death of a child could set parents early on to a committed path of higher consciousness, including “waking up” to the truth that our consciousness continues after death of the body, and inviting us to use this life for maximal evolution including the development of unconditional love and subtle energy perception.
To learn what happens after bodily death
To know how to transform grief
To learn about subtle energy
