Steve has provided strategic sourcing consulting for over 30 years, serving client businesses in over 30 countries. He has directed over 100 successful engagements and his teams have sourced over $5 billion in equipment, materials and services, producing over $350 million in savings. He has advised several Fortune 500 companies on green sourcing strategies. He has led strategic sourcing programs focusing on large capital and operating expenditures in the energy, process and manufacturing industries. He also has significant experience in sourcing of indirect spend.
Prior to GEP, Steve was a partner with Ernst & Young and a vice president with A.T. Kearney. He has a BS in Economics from Manhattan College and an MBA from Long Island University.
Prior to joining GEP, Jason led client-facing consulting teams for Fortune 500 energy companies in developing and executing sourcing strategies (including category management and strategic sourcing for engineered products, services, and large capital projects). He functioned as the engagement manager for multiple projects, overseeing projects of various complexity and scale. At Schlumberger, he served as a global project manager, overseeing teams of up to 12 professionals and equipment in over 50 multimillion-dollar energy projects. He interacted directly with external customers and contractors to execute data acquisition services on oil rigs in locations worldwide.
Jason holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
