The Current State of Digital Readiness

Mastering the Supply Chain Data Challenge

Organizations preparing to embark on a digital transformation journey quickly discover that without quality data, they will be unable to proceed towards their goals. Before it can be actionable, data has to be captured, cleansed, centralized and analyzed. When quality data is available, the transformation effort can continue, but without it, an entirely different focus is required.

This AOP Live session will interpret and comment on the results of the third annual Data Quality and Governance Study conducted by Dr. Robert Handfield of N.C. State and Joseph Yacura of Supply Chain Management, LLC.

The resulting research addresses the critical need for supply chain leaders to focus on the intersection of data quality, governance and decision making.

In addition, Handfield and Yacura’s research provides insights into the digital readiness of data created as a result of procurement and supply chain transactions: data oversight and ownership, tools used for data analysis, data cleansing and organization.
