Jose Gallegos, Community Marketing Strategist at TINT
It all started when I was ten years old when I was watching Nickelodeon at my house. I asked my mom, “Who makes commercials? Is it the same people who make cartoons?” My mom says, “Can we talk about it later, honey? Mommy can’t talk with her mud mask on.” I rolled my eyes and decided to look it up on the internet. I logged on to AOL and patiently waited to connect as I listen to the horrible dubstep dial up sound. What began as a quick internet search on how commercials are made, turned into a crash course on everything marketing and communication. From print, radio, public relations, television, and the “new cool kid to join the group” - online marketing were all fascinating topics to learn about. It sparked my passion and knew at that moment I wanted to turn this interest into a career.
