Wordtracker seems to be here forever(since 1998!), SEMrush looks like tools of a choice for many, newcomer like Moz(Moz!) wants its share of the pie. SERPstat is already number one in the local market, now they want to live an “American Dream”.

Russ Jones, has been practicing SEO since 2005 when he joined Angular (previously Virante) and went on to become the company’s Chief Technology Officer. Russ spearheaded the development of several ethical SEO technologies such as LinkSleeve, the second largest link spam prevention tool; OpenCaptcha, a free distributed anti-spam solution; and Remove’em, a link removal service to assist clean-up efforts from past spam linking strategies. When Russ joined Moz in August 2015, the company also acquired his SERPscape tool, which contains data on 40 million U.S. search results.
