THIS WEBINAR WAS RECORDED ON THE

June 28, 2016

DURATION

60 min

webinar description

Join industry thought leaders Jason Busch of Spend Matters, Michael Lamoureux of Sourcing Innovation, and Roger Blumberg of POOL4TOOL for a spirited discussion around one of today's most challenging issues confronting direct procurement professionals.

In many organizations direct procurement is "held hostage" by their indirect procurement counterparts who are responsible for obtaining technology solutions. While indirect platforms are fine for things like office products and travel they don't have the functionality required to effectively handle the complexity of direct procurement of materials and components for manufacturing. Only direct material platforms provide the unique capabilities for sourcing, procurement and supply management you need to compete effectively.

Learn what core platform capabilities are required in today's direct procurement environment and see if your existing platform is up to meeting the direct materials procurement challenge!

Reasons to attend the webinar:
  • The unique challenges direct procurement professionals face which are not solved by current technologies

  • How direct procurement is evolving and the importance of supplier and supply chain management

  • What specific functionality your direct material platform needs to have in order to effectively compete in today's global economy
