A webinar for UK companies considering entry into growing market. Indonesia currently is already addressing impending energy crisis and seeking to lower its dependency on non-renewable energy sources. The government is currently focusing in geothermal, solar panel and hydro power projects.
Indonesia's rapidly expanding economy has boosted domestic energy demand. Currently, Indonesia seeks to lower its dependency on old resources as source for energy because 50% of the country’s energy is derived from old resources. Departing from that Indonesian government intends to reduce to 23% by 2025 by replacing coal with renewable resources.
Mr. Vice President, Jusuf Kalla has stated that whoever wants to invest in Indonesia must do so with green investment and if they want to develop power plants, more geothermal projects must be focused on.
